The brief
This contemporary residence stands as a masterclass in textural harmony, where the raw, rugged beauty of hand-selected stone meets refined modern surfaces. The design seeks to bridge the gap between architectural minimalism and organic warmth, using natural stone to anchor the building within its lush surroundings.
The brief was to create a space that feels both grounded and light. By utilizing textured stone facades alongside sleek dark timber and expansive glass, we achieved a residence that celebrates the interplay of shadow, surface, and light.
Scope of Work
Strategic supply and tailored fabrication of natural stone for the villa’s principal facade and structural columns. Our scope included the selection of stones with rich tonal variations to provide a natural, stacked appearance, high-precision cutting for window surrounds, and ensuring seamless integration with the building’s timber and steel elements. We provided technical detailing to ensure the heavy stone components maintain a clean, integrated finish across the residential landscape.

The architectural character of this project is found in the deliberate contrast between natural textures. The tactile surfaces of the stone walls create a rhythmic visual pulse, while the clean, dark lines of the roofing and balconies provide a sophisticated framing.
